Binge drinking? We're far from alone in the UK

There's nothing the UK press loves more than knocking its own population. We're regularly dissed as binge drinking lager louts that need regulation to save ourselves from, well, ourselves.

As this article points out, we're not alone though. Australia, for one, has its problems too.

It also makes the pertinent point that where you don't get binge drinking, it's often because food is eaten alongside the booze too. Time for a rethink about how we go out and socialise? Wouldn't hurt.
